We see appointments 6 days a week. From Annual visits, to puppy/kitten booster and Senior Wellness or doctors are here to keep your pets happy and healthy. One of the most important services we provide is the annual physical examination. We check all your pet’s vital systems, create a baseline of health, and proactively catch any situations that might need attention. Other basic services include vaccinations, fecal tests, deworming, dental cleaning and extractions, geriatric physicals, grooming, boarding and toenail trims. For your convenience, animals may be dropped off if you are unable to schedule a specific appointment time.
Pets are special members of our family. And while we wish we could take them everywhere with us, sometimes that just isn’t possible. If you need to board your four-legged companion, we hope you will place your trust in us. Our exceptional kennel staff will provide your pet(s) with lots of tender loving care while you are away.
We welcome dogs and cats, along with selected other pets—such as pot-bellies pigs, rabbits, pocket pets, reptiles, ferrets and birds.
Our climate-controlled kennel has separate accommodations for dogs and cats.
Our groomer is available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for full grooming services, FFF, and cat grooms.
We also offer bathing services including deshed treatments and spa packages on Thursday and Friday.
Our veterinary laboratory can produce test results within 30 minutes, enabling us to begin treatment right away for pets that are experiencing an emergency. Complete blood counts (CBCs), blood chemistry panels, and urinalysis results can be obtained quickly so that you and your pet don’t have to wait for vital information when time is of the essence. In addition to emergency diagnostics, we also have the ability to perform same day pre-surgery screenings, thyroid screens, fecal exams, FeLV/FIV tests, PARVO tests, as well as ear, skin, and tumor cytology.
Some of the more common procedures we perform include spay and neuter, bladder surgery, exploratory, intestinal surgeries, cherry eye surgeries, as well as tumor removals. We also have the ability to bring in an orthopedic surgeon if your pet requires MPL, CCL or other orthopedic surgery.
Your pet’s safety is our number one priority. Included with any surgery package is comprehensive pre-operative blood screening through our in-house laboratory to confirm that your pet’s organs and systems are healthy enough for us to proceed. Anesthetics are chosen to suit your pet’s unique health needs. IV fluids and IV catheter are included with any surgical package and are utilized to administer these and other necessary medications, as well as to ensure your pet is kept hydrated before, during, and after the procedure. We are equipped with specialized monitors to closely observe your pet’s vitals throughout the procedure. After the surgery has been completed, a dedicated staff member will be by your pet’s side to ensure that he or she is comfortable and secure.
Health certificates are necessary to obtain before traveling with your pet within or out of the country. It is important to get information on what paperwork your pet will need to have completed well before your travel departure date. If you are planning to travel by plane with your pet you will need to have them examined by your veterinarian in advance, especially if it has been more than a few months since their last health check or if your pet has any health problems or is in need of vaccinations.
Be sure to check with the airline you are using for your travel to see which documents are needed prior to the flight. For international travel, we will help you contact the USDA to get all requirements and have your paperwork reviewed and endorsed by APHIS. We do recommend contacting the clinic as soon as you decide on international travel as some countries require months of preparation prior to travel.
